Welcome to LogicFood: Food Additive Guide ("App"), developed by Fortex Labs ("we", "us", "our"). By downloading, accessing, or using our App, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use ("Terms"). Please read them carefully before using the App.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using LogicFood, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the App.
2. Eligibility
LogicFood is suitable for users of all ages. Users under 13 should use the App with parental awareness. By using the App, you represent and warrant that you meet these eligibility requirements.
3. App Features and Usage
3.1 Free Features
- LogicFood is free to download and use — no account or registration required
- Ingredient analysis and risk categorization are available to all users
- Barcode scanner, ingredient dictionary, and category browsing are fully free
3.2 Personal Lists
- You can create and manage personal buy/avoid lists directly in the App
- Lists are stored locally on your device and are not synced to any server
- You are responsible for the content of lists you create and share
3.3 Barcode Scanner
- The barcode scanner requires camera access on your device
- Camera access is used solely for reading product barcodes
- You may revoke camera permissions at any time through device settings
5. Informational Purpose and Medical Disclaimer
IMPORTANT: LogicFood is designed for general informational purposes only. The ingredient analysis and risk categorizations provided by this App:
- Are based on EFSA (European Food Safety Authority) guidelines and do not constitute medical advice
- Do not replace professional medical, nutritional, or dietary advice
- Should not be used as the sole basis for health-related decisions
- May not account for individual health conditions, allergies, or medical history
Always consult a qualified healthcare provider, nutritionist, or dietitian for health-related concerns, medical conditions, or dietary requirements.
6. EFSA Data and Accuracy
All ingredient and additive data in the App is sourced from European Food Safety Authority (EFSA) guidelines. While we strive to keep information accurate and up-to-date:
- We do not guarantee the completeness or accuracy of any specific product information
- Food safety regulations may vary by country and change over time
- Individual product formulations may change without notice
- Always verify ingredient information on actual product labels
7. Personal Lists
Lists you create in LogicFood are stored locally on your device only. We do not have access to your list contents. You are responsible for ensuring the content of any lists you share externally is appropriate and accurate.
8. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use the App for any illegal purpose
- Attempt to reverse engineer or hack the App
- Use automated systems to access the App
- Interfere with or disrupt the App's functionality
- Resell or commercially exploit the App or its services
- Use the App's analysis results in ways that could harm or deceive others
9. Intellectual Property
LogicFood, including its design, features, ingredient analysis methodology, and content, is the property of Fortex Labs and is protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. The EFSA data used in this App is sourced from publicly available European Food Safety Authority publications. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works based on our App without our explicit permission.
10. Disclaimer of Warranties
THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO THE WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE APP WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR SECURE. WE DO NOT GUARANTEE THAT THE INFORMATION PROVIDED IS COMPLETE, ACCURATE, OR CURRENT.
11. Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, FORTEX LABS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS OR REVENUES, WHETHER INCURRED DIRECTLY OR INDIRECTLY, OR ANY LOSS OF DATA, USE, GOODWILL, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES. FORTEX LABS IS NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY HEALTH DECISIONS MADE BASED ON INFORMATION PROVIDED BY THE APP.
12. Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to LogicFood at any time, without notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms or is harmful to other users, us, or third parties.
You may stop using the App at any time. To delete your account and data, use the account settings in the app or contact us.
13. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last updated" date. Your continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
14. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Turkey, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
